Annette Funicello did not only sing or act, but also performed. Her most famous role was as "one of the very first Mouseketeers" in The Mickey Mouse Club. At the age of a teen and began singing, her career in music started. Her popularity grew due to songs like 'TallPaul' and "Pineapple Princess. Annette was a shy child who grew up in Utica with Italian immigrants. In order to make her name in the entertainment business her first step was to begin dancing and play. In the mid-1950s, she was featured in a number of Disney sketches in the role of one of the "Mouseketeers" which earned her considerable popularity. Annette was able to shed her Disney persona in her adult years and began to play adult roles. As one of first actors, she was acknowledged with introducing the "beach" style of party. Her roles included 'Pajama Party', 'How to Stuff a Wild Bikini", and "Beach Party'. She also continued to produce music albums.
