Barone was Gail Cunningham in The Shoes of Seinfeld season four. Barone was a chef who was named Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. Then in the 90s, Barone made an appearance for Carol & Company alongside Carol Burnett. Barone additionally played the role of the ex-wife of Geller's character, Carol Willick, in the character's first appearance on Friends. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she left to take on a full-time position. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the beginning of its run (1995-1996) and in The War at Home from 2005 to 2007. Barone costarred on Daddio (2000). Barone was also seen in Desperate housewives, Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not disturb Ally McBeal Caroline In The City Party of Five, The Larry Sanders Show and Desperately Housewives. Three years later, since The War at Home ended the film's run, Barone started her role as a recurring character on Shake It Up, a Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred in the role of J.J. Jones in two episodes.
